In descending order of good privacy:

  • Tor (not necessary for the majority of use-cases)
  • Hardened Firefox (you can find tutorials for this with a quick Google)
  • Mullvad
  • Librewolf
  • Brave (yes there's controversy about crypto and the founder being a dick, it's still miles better than Chrome)
  • Everything else
  • Chrome itself (seriously, don't use Chrome)

My number 1 recommended plugin for privacy and getting rid of ads is always ✨ uBlock Origin ✨ (not uBlock, that's not the one by the OG dev).

With a latte, it's just normal steamed milk. A cappuccino has foamy steamed milk. Specifically, it has an equal volume of steamed milk and foam taking up space in the cup. You get more actual milk diluting the coffee in a latte, resulting in a milder drink.

We need a t-shirt that says this.

We need them in most residential areas honestly. I live by a main road in my town and there's so many people with these cars in the wee hours of the morning. I hate them.

I ended up Googling which episode Clara left and watching from the one after that. I love her actress but the character was unlikeable for me, too. Bill's era is pretty good imho, and I'm working myself up to the next doctor because I'm slightly dreading it after all the bad stuff I've heard. I did watch the specials with David Tennant because anything with Donna Noble is always, always mandatory for me.

If you liked 10 and Donna, you should absolutely consider watching the specials.

The CEO at my last place used to forget his passwords at least once a week, would write them on Post-It notes on his desk (and lose them by day's end).

We had a dashboard that showed failed security and he was many, many times worse than the rest of the business combined. That man cost the business more in IT time than anyone.

This was a bank. Granted, a small lending-only bank but still, I would never get a mortgage or loan with these people.

They should have just put a Yubikey on his keys. He never lost those.

Now THIS is something I want to see Gordon react to in an establishment!

Yes, child rapists should be ostracised forever. As adults, we have a responsibility to protect the children in our communities. Sorry if this is hard for you to understand but the safety of innocent children is infinitely more important than the poor delicate feelings of a child rapist. If they don't want to suffer the consequences of their actions, then they shouldn't do the bad thing.

Also, he didn't even serve the full sentence given by the court that sentenced him. So no, he did not serve his punishment. That's a load of shite. His government extradited him and let him off easy. And then they effectively spat on the whole punishment again by letting him represent his country anyway.

It doesn't matter how long ago it was. The harm was still real. And it screams "we care more about perpetrators' rights than victims." Or maybe they don't care because the victim wasn't Dutch. I don't know.

I do however agree that they shouldn't go after his family. He committed the crime, not them. Even if I am disgusted by the very idea of anyone willing to sleep with a nonce. Still not my business.

Kavernacle just did a very succinct video on this exact topic https://youtu.be/JmA-0it04Wk?feature=shared

It really does feel like that right now, as someone who lives in northern England.

And it provides warm spots for cats to bask in.

The only liberty they care about is their own liberty. Everyone else can go do one.
