This game is probably my favourite horror game of all time. That being said, I'm playing Alan Wake 2 currently, and it definitely does better at being scary. AW2 does an amazing job at creating disturbing environments and imagery, while also being oddly beautiful. Reminds me of the Hannibal TV series a lot.
