I was trying to find some games the other day, using advanced search and filters, and I've noticed some categories feel not so useful. This is the actual main categorization:

  • Abstract games
  • Children's games
  • Customizable games
  • Family games
  • Party games
  • Strategy games
  • Thematic games
  • Wargames

These are the main game genres in your opinion?

You can edit titles here on Lemmy :-P

What's your plan to achieve this objective?

If it's only for your files you can already do that without hosts, using Syncthing!

I'm also interested to learn self-hosting, it's the future of internet imho.

There are distributions with a great Steam experience out of the box? It's SteamOS actually a good choice? Maybe isn't what you use or prefer.

A good Steam distro for me has a very mininal procedure for perfectly working controllers, client and general user experience.

Your direct test and experience are very appreciated.

I like to have the same wallpaper for every aspect of the system, maybe there's a script?

Same? I think this hardware is so useless that don't even worth it to build a custom firmware. :D

It isn't on the list. There are maybe old releases for legacy hardware?

Looks like it isn't even supported by OpenWrt, can I find a sense to this poor old device in 2023?

Thanks for any suggestion!

I recently started to directly use KeePassDX even for notes (since I sync it with syncthing) and I must say it's very good.

It is possible to estimate?

Culture is generally very low, look how people use their fucking smartphones.

And what do you actually use? I know the answer is probably self-hosting but maybe there are other solutions for a decent privacy.

I just probably need ~~to buy a fire stick~~ a software with a tv-like UI, where I can use a remote to visit streaming websites in an easiest way.

My nearest way is using my steam controller but isn't comfy to navigate Netflix or other streaming websites.

I tend to prefer "file centered" apps, there's some cool one you'd use with Syncthing? My favourite is KeePassDX; I would love a notes app with a 'material you' UI.

KeePassDX + Syncthing is the best solution.

A genuine discussion about the best FLOSS decentralized system to share poop emojis and videocall your dog.

Void feel faster on old hardware due to systemd missing, the real problem is no-AUR imo.

https://funkwhale.it/library/albums/2612/ Breakertronik (originally released in 2012 under the name "DaniBro") was my first album. Breakertronik Reloaded is a remaster of that work.

I enjoyed a lot Riki supp in the last patch, so I miss dart so much and the first thing I thought is to buy atos first item as pos 4...it actually works pretty well if your team doesnt need something else as soon as possibile. Nothing comparable to dart but upgrade to glepnir in late game feels pretty good.

Normal people just care on what their friends are using. The real question is: Why big characters in the libre software culture are not promoting/using it?
