Really pisses me off the whole "males competing in female sports" comment from transphobes because it's just so fucking sexist as well as transphobic.

They clearly look down on the female gender as the "weaker" gender as though they pose no threat. Like at least be consistent in your transphobia ffs.

Regardless of the side, this is such a sad number

Seeing the video of that girl at Tufts getting abducted by the police, I don't blame people if they are too afraid to protest.

I know there is a general strike being organised, hopefully that has a big impact.

I'm also waiting for them to make cuts to CISA and ruin the great standing the agency has in the world of cyber security

I totally agree with this.

Most sites which employ algorithms are intended to try and keep you engaged for as long as possible, unfortunately outrage gets engagement.

Thats what I love about sites like Lemmy or using NewPipe for YouTube. I only get what's there at the time, no algorithm which constantly tries to feed me content so I don't have to make the decision to watch something myself.

So I guess the ICJ ruling was completely pointless?

Burp Suite academy learning, all free with interactive labs, you only need to download and install the community version of the application. https://portswigger.net/web-security/learning-paths

Rhana Khalil also has a lot of guides on these labs if you're someone who learns best by watching others. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKaK-XPQAbznwIISC46b1oA

NahamSec is another big figure in the bug bounty community who often puts out helpful content for new comers. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCZDt7MuC3Hzs6IH4xODLBw

Web application pentesting.

There are heaps of free resources, a company known as PortSwigger who make one of the most used applications, Burp Suite, offer heaps of free learning paths and tutorials to get you familiar with the skills needed to learn how to do this.

There are then heaps of free bug bounty programs which you can sign up to which allow you to start attempting to find vulnerabilities in web applications for companies which are enrolled with these programs.

I'm not gonna lie and say this is an easy skill to learn but it can definitely be rewarding even with some basic knowledge.

I'll put money on seeing a story of someone who recently got their citizenship under Biden being detained. They will not stop this madness and ICE agents will continue to follow orders

For anyone who is interested in the awful torture techniques the CIA were using, presented in as much of a light hearted way a YouTuber can: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEqrm9OIqro
