Aaah yes, so that means all these SELF-diagnosed people who claim to have 2000 alters are all 100% real.

All the quirky little acts they do for the camera aren't an act!! They really DO become their favourite anime characters!!

Some even post clips of their sob stories trying to get diagnosed and being let go by the doctor/therapist.

Of course not. I find the sub fascinating and funny but I think they're fakers.

However, I wouldn't comment or seek them out to make fun of them.

Look - I've been diagnosed with BPD but the people on that sub claim to have DID and be a "system" with over 1000 personalities. Those personalities, funnily enough, are anime characters fro the latest animes they watched.

You really think they're real?

You think the 14yo claiming to be a "system" of 1000 identities is really suffering DID? Really?

It's called banter. Light-hearted joshing. I love the Swedish Mongols; very amusing people.

With a name like Kusimulkku I should have guessed. I wouldn't call you American but you are one of the weirdest countries in Europe. A language designed to confuse with an obsessive dedication to double-consanants. I assume your cats are as unsociable as your people.

Depends on the country.

And so begins a new battle in the eternal war between Americans with indoor cats and others with outdoor cats.

It's pretty difficult to actually find an indoor cat in the UK. In the US it's common.

Why is it a good thing?

[–] cashews_best_nut@lemmy.world 0 points 7 months ago (4 children)

Ah yes the oft-used American Exceptionalist attitude of "we're too good to bind ourselves to treaties like this".

Tale as old as time. It's why the US isn't a member of the ICJ and many other international treaties. King's don't follow rules - they make them!

Vergis es. Mein Deutsch ist Scheisse. :(

Seems to be a lack of gays on Lemmy. Why? Are you all Reddit's pliant, submissive bitches?

P.S. I really love the phrase "rampant homosexual".
