Is anyone else really digging this art style?

Kind of makes me wonder what hulk Hogan was doing at that time to make Andre so upset with him.

Give big Dio vibes, "Oh, you're approaching me?”

True but I can't think of anything that capitalism hasn't fucked up one way or another.

I would be against making AI responsible for what capitalism has done.

Yeah, that's the problem with middle men. They're not there to lower the prices for the consumer.

I bought a pair of wired earbuds off of wish or temu, something like that, they were like eight or nine dollars.

Honestly compared to any Bluetooth headphones I've used, equivalent or better sound quality. And the wire can be pulled out and replaced for just a buck if need be. I've had them for 2 years now and they have been wonderful.

Also Moto phones with their operational 3.5 mm jacks for the win.

And, playing the devil's advocate, if you die in your early 60s due to long-term sustained malnutrition that is better for the economy than if you live until you are 80.

They got to do everything they can to prevent them from having to pay back those social security loans they took out and never paid back.

Many vegetables today are either sweeter than their predecessors or less flavorful or both.

Corn, for instance, grows so fast under modern fertilizers that the internal cells split during the growth process.

Their stalks are weaker but their yield has more than doubled since the 80s.

If you want to learn more about that, I can highly recommend the book The omnivore's dilemma. It's fascinating how modern agriculture is so completely divorced from what most people think it is.

It actually sounds to me like Ticketmaster found out that people were scalping tickets and decided to get in on the action.

I hope they get sued out of existence and then their executives beaten, tarred and feathered, and exiled from the music industry.

I want successful musicians to receive the accolades of their work but I also want their work to be financially accessible.

Exactly. Plus the common use of mastering at the time was to optimize the recorded audio for printing on a vinyl disc, and if the grooves were too deep or the transitions too sharp it could cause the needle to skip out of the track.

If your average listener is going to be listening on a mono device then a smart thing to do would be to pan one thing consistently to one side and the other to the other as the mono needle isn't going to care where it's getting its vibrations from. That would give you more resolution and more depth for the cut, as long as the final disc was only played in mono.

I'm not saying that's the case for every recording but I'm pretty sure it has happened quite a few times back then while they were still figuring everything out.

Yep. I have been working on that for my next vacation, get an MRI and some actual diagnoses to bring to my PCP so that they'll actually do something.
