I love your username. It’s both the name of a starship maneuver, and of adjusting a Starfleet uniform 😁

Not if it’s sending DNA data to another country. Does it have regulatory or FDA approval?

And cars. Not if the EV is undercutting economies and has suspect standards as well as potential issues with lack of long term support or even repair.

I’m not trying to be a jerk, but my whole life those ‘Made in China’ things are often not the best quality. Economically it’s a lot less expensive, perhaps but quality speaks volumes. I mean, look at Tesla, I’ll never buy one now.

Add to the fact that it’s technologically decked out to some degree too, and the cybersecurity there is also suspect.

Across the board: No thanks.

Signaling from Trump can be interpreted as: “I’ll flip flop on issues and then do what I want when I’m in office anyway, depending on my mood, and if I ate McDonald’s yet or not.”

Terminator 2. Also Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Oh and a glimpse of Silence of the lambs before I got caught by mum that time.

The heart part in Indiana Jones haunted me. as did the idea of a killer robot that you can’t reason with or plead mercy to.

I’m just frustrated they use this technique to drag people into the article. Maybe I just wanna see the company and if I’d heard of it before.

Standing next to a table piled with largely unregulated products containing hemp-derived cannabinoids, including beverages and gummies, Newsom expressed disgust that they’re now widely sold at grocery stores, gas stations and convenience stores. Hemp-derived THC-infused sparkling water, he lamented, can be found—including by minors—alongside more benign products like La Croix.

“It’s a disgrace and it’s a shame,” the governor said, “and the industry bears full responsibility for not policing itself, for the proliferation of these intoxicating products that are hurting our children.”

When has ‘the industry policing itself’ ever worked? It should be policy or have been considered before implementing the marijuana law in the first place. Earmark money set aside for regulatory needs. Enforce labels. Beer isn’t sold next to the soda in the same fridge usually. Same should be for like THC candies etc.
