No I think it just proves this is a shit product

That was the moment I realized he was either going to be Tony Stark or Lex Luther.

And then he goes and proves me wrong by being worse than ever imaginable.

Stein refused to call Putin a war criminal, so yes. There is no anti genocide vote.

Invest in renewables?

I work for a green hydrogen production and supply company. Our financials are not amazing. If she cut a check for even a few $100k that would go a long way.

It's time to stop bringing awareness to climate change, and to actually start addressing it. If you're passionate enough to throw soup at a painting, you're passionate enough to get job training to help operate renewable energy sites.

They should be required to change their name

paid for entirely by venture capital seed funding.

And stealing from other people's works. Don't forget that part

Third parties have gotten over 5% before. How'd that go for them?

It's clear that the current third party strategy of advertising via presidential runs is an abject failure.

It depends a lot on how the pagers are distributed. Is it a batch that was carefully delivered to only Hezbollah members? Is that where all the pagers from that batch went?

It's not like the pagers are stamped with "for Hezbollah only". I'm concerned how they were all distributed.

You've proved the point then. If Cobb's strategy was followed, the Greens would be in a far better position.

[–] assassin_aragorn@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

You actually bring up an excellent point here -- the Green Party should be throwing everything they have at places with RCV. Yet, they're not. Those are the perfect races for them to win, and they don't give a shit.

So why are disbanding NATO and stopping aid to Ukraine even policy positions of hers? Shouldn't she be focused on ranked choice voting and healthcare instead?

Stein said Russia wasn't entirely at fault for the war and their invasion of Ukraine. She refused to condemn Putin in a recent interview, with an independent progressive journalist.

You're supporting a lesser evil too. You just don't want to recognize it. And in that regard, yes, people who vote for Democrats and recognize their imperfections are morally superior.

You'd think midterms would be a great time to get your name out there and run high profile candidates to win House districts led by charlatans...

Not much info at time of posting what prompted the man to do so

He still refuses to budge, even after Republicans were eviscerated on election day for abortion. They're going to keep getting hit for it until they can rein in true believers like Tuberville.

The article provided a good overview of the situation and firsthand accounts, plus marked up maps. The maps make it clear just how ridiculous their claims are. It's like a modern "manifest destiny" philosophy.

In short, we aren't on track to an apocalyptic extinction, and the new head is concerned that rhetoric that we are is making people apathetic and paralyzes them from making beneficial actions.

He makes it clear too that this doesn't mean things are perfectly fine. The world is becoming and will be more dangerous with respect to climate. We're going to still have serious problems to deal with. The problems just aren't insurmountable and extinction level.

There's just something fucking hilarious about laying off employees, mocking them, and being sued for improperly firing them -- and then whining that your competitor hired them and that they have access to Twitter information still.

I believe this fits well under the "fuck around and find out" doctrine.
