This is a way in which you can discredit any attempt at proposing correct or logical language use

It absolutely is not. You're just talking out of your ass.

The same one that you are, in fact, showing when you demand that the personal preference of some random stranger is the way that everyone has to talk from now on. Ludicrous.

It did mean the same thing, but now it doesn't

That isn't a grammatic rule. Some guy in the recent past was like "I think it sounds better that way." It was his personal preference.

That's all.

They've always been used interchangeably, for as long as English has been a written language.

People who love to "correct" this are just showing ass to anyone who knows any better haha.

Absolutely the worst DC character

Absolutely, I consider it all one series and read them all together. Silk for caldé!

I first read it when I was like 15, tapped out in book 3.

Read it again as an adult, enjoyed it immensely, still missed a great deal of what was happening.

Third time I started to really start to plug into what Gene was laying down.

I've read it maybe 6 times now and I pick up new details and meanings every time.

Obviously that's a whole lot if you don't find value in the journey itself, and it's not like I'm recommending it or anything haha. I always tell people to start with his short stories. The Island Of Doctor Death And Other Stories is a great one.

Girls have a higher pain tolerance than boys.

Sounds like the sort of thing a doctor says while explaining himself at an inquisition.

I'm seeing conflicting research on a cursory look.

How does their adult role model hitting them not just teach them that hitting is socially acceptable?

Teaching this to a kid without empathy seems like the worst imaginable circumstance lol.

And I sure as hell don't want someone other than the parents ever making that decision.
