What do you think?

There's any downside to just pirate the game instead of getting it for "free" and risking your data to a big corp?

If you started using Linux with 6, or mac for that matter you'll probably find that more intuitive than windows.

Sorry but the graphic interface of windows is jack shit, you have different types of system configuration and legacy menus all over the place, for anything more serious editing the Registry is not what I call intuitive.

I've a friend that had constantly BSOD while playing certain games and he only found the solution in a russian forum suggesting to rename a .dll file in system, that was in 2015-2016. That's not intuitive. The biggest difference is the amount of time that people need to do that in windows vs in linux, in any case people without more knowledge in PCs are completely lost and need assistance.

But you see he invest 0.1% of their money to save some people in the world, sometimes. He is so generous.

But at the same time is easier an answer more specific things than finding a answer in the windows forums, not only that is easier to search for "fedora 40" than "windows 10 update 22ThatBreaksMyFuckingSystem000"

The alternative of showing things in the GUI is not great either because of the number of distros and desktop environment. I imagine that a article/forum response with 30 SS of the different combinations of distro + desktop environment will be overwhelming for the beginner anyway

It's not like people need the Linux community to install Linux, they didn't need a "windows community" to use windows.

Ok, communism is a political and economic system without government, stateless. Socialism is social and economic system with government, I mixed government in between because I dumb but USSR was a socialist state.

The question was what Putin have to do with the communism of USSR, the Russia of today is not a socialist state, Putin want the totalitarianism and the land of USSR, totalitarianism has nothing to do with capitalism or socialism.

Edit:

Look up the meaning of communism and then look up how the “Communist” government of the USSR was run and compare the two.

I'm dumb but I mixed "government" after this answer, westerns call USSR a communist state but they themselves call it socialist state, so is okay to say communist state but it's not ok to say communist government in English? Even if government is generally a state? Genuine question.

A communist country doesn't mean is not free from sins, is not a utopia is a social construct that needs constant effort to be afloat. URSS and Stalin did a lot of shit, but the worst communist implementation is still equal or better than the best capitalist country.

URSS do shit and Putin do shit doesn't mean they both are the same type of government, that's doesn't make any sense.

Again what type of URSS government are? If not communism what is? You only give your opinion about how bad at times they went but what your fucking answer?

So ok it's a matter of opinion and not based on anything concrete, have a nice day.

Mozilla should spent money to advertise(Is this right? I don't know verbs fuck) a flaw in Chrome? It's not like the public cares about it.

What you the chosen one who defies the historians calls the USSR government?

If it's socialism OK, I can give you that.

He glorifies it so much that's he criticize communism a lot.

He just want the land dude, he is a oligarch, a reactionary. The actual government is not communist.

I'm pretty much gaming on linux the entire year and most of the time using lutris or steam.

Some days ago I used Heroic Games Launcher and notice that the Documents folder from my linux machine was linked to the wine prefix heroic created for my game and my save/configs was nicely stored on my PC.

I know that on steam the prefix is stored in .../steamapps/compatdata/, is that any option on steam or lutris to automatic set theses symlinks? Steam have the steam cloud to backup saves but is always nice to have alternatives.

More details: My steam games is on a different disk of my linux so I don't know if the behaviour that I'm asking is the default and my disk configuration is messing something up.
