You’ll hopefully forgive me for speaking in stupid meme language.

I’m in a similar boat, the motion sickness takes me out for a good couple hours. Have you found anything helpful? The only thing that sometimes helps is food, but this is far from a perfect fix - The nausea makes it hard for me to make myself eat.

It looks like the mod here (Lexam) just gave you the green light to share if you feel comfortable. I’d love to hear it!

I wish I had some good advice to give, but all I have to say is that rhythmically complex shoegaze sounds like a really cool idea, and I hope you have some success in the future!

Before paying a bunch for plugins, you may consider taking a look at Neural Amp Modeler/ and the NAM Universal plugins.

It’s free, and I believe an open source amp profiler. People upload profiles of their own gear on sites like Tonehunt.

It’s a little bit finicky to get the levels right with your interface, and overall less user friendly than the paid plugins, but when you do find some good settings it’s pretty nice overall. You can stack overdrive profiles with amp profiles, and do all kinds of crazy combinations. Quality of profiles is dependent upon the profile creator’s setup.

It looks like the article was written by an Alexa Turing, which could be a real name… but seems a little bit too on the nose.

Edit: yeah, it’s satire, check the community about section.

Yep we pretty old now lol.

So many of the things they did in gen 3 (and started in gen 2) like the weather, secret bases, and the daily events and activities (Lilycove lottery, TV announcements, outbreaks) added so much depth to the game.

It’s like a pure version of modern daily activities in games, without all the toxicity. And they did this all on cartridges with built in batteries.

That’s true, but from what I remember wasn’t super intuitive. Maybe I’m wrong though - I was a child the last time I ran through it all.

Get ready for the brass section when you play Emerald! Memes aside - the Hoenn soundtracks are some of the coziest, most nostalgic set of songs.

I think it’s fun to do the brail puzzles without looking up the solutions online - other than a brail alphabet.

I hope you enjoy! It’s kinda like an environmentalist’s Roadside Picnic.

Highly recommend the first book that the movie was based on. To a certain extent enjoyed the two sequels of the original trilogy.

Jeff Vandermere just released a new prequel book called Absolution that was a little bit tougher of a read for me for some reason (probably because it has been nearly 8 years since I read the original series), but still fascinating if you like the area X books.

He has some other weird fiction books that are definitely worth scoping out too: Borne is very different from annihilation but the characters have really stuck in my head since I read it. Almost everything he touches seems to touch on humanity’s relationship with the environment.

Does SSX count as a racing game?

If so, SSX was huge for my prepubescent self.
