It is very possible it was made with a different cinnamon.
There is cassia and ceylon cinnamons that have different flavor profiles.

You should watch Andor. It's an actual good star wars show. Probably because it is mostly an original story in the star wars universe.
Cyberpunk 2077. It was hated on release but it really has made a comeback after 2.0 was released.
I think cyberpunk really puts so many triple A titles to shame when it comes to the quality of the characters and quests.
