On "normal" day I often have troubles even with single sentences. Then again some days I understand and remember (almost) everything quite easily.

Google collects a lot of personal data and I don't like it. I disabled every Google app and service that was possible without changing OS or rooting the phone. Then I realized that few apps, that are important to me, did not work correctly without Google Services. So unfortunately I had to re-enable it. I'm using VPN though. Hopefully that messes at least a little bit Google's data collecting.

On PC Linux is nowadays my main OS but I have Windows 11 installed too (dual boot). There's still quite many compatibility problems with Linux.

Depends on the game. In fast paced games 100ms ping may negatively affect the gameplay (though normally the game is still playable), but in slower paced games it normally doesn't matter that much yet.

The reason for the foster care is stated in the article:

"But a social worker from the Children and Family Court Advisory Service CAFCASS said she believed Lucy had been neglected, underfed and under stimulated."

DuckDuckGo/Bing is pretty bad at finding stuff in my native language. That's why I use Startpage (and sometimes even Google) more nowadays.

Same here. There's many games I want to try/play but they are too expensive.

Even though it's easier to find information than like 30 years before, kids nowadays do NOT look for news or some other "sensible" information. They watch stupid TikTok videos and things like that (yes yes, there's always some exceptions). Smartphones has become a big problem in schools. You would know that if you followed the news.
