That was one of the first distros to support Wayland, so it has my begrudging respect.

And solo players might not be as motivated to buy and show exclusive loot and skins

Japanese company: Makes super faithful waifu figures

American company: Makes Facebook-avatar-like figures

TBH half of them are quite good, but the other half is kinda weird.

Fuck ads, they're everywhere at every level. I want to see less of them, not more.

You get a bidet, you get a bidet, everyone gets a bidet! The same bidet for everyone!

I can only assume OP wants the shop to taxi them home. maybe back when the car is ready? Most fixes on the range of hundreds of dollars take several hours, or days depending on the availability of parts/tools.

Shops fix cars, driving customers is an added value I wouldn't expect from most car shops. More so, if you committed to pay a few hundreds for a repair when it's ready, it's reasonable to assume you have enough money to go home on your own. A bicycle is always an option, though.

His first book (Sapiens) does a great job of showing how frail is modern civilization, though. Its foundation is, like religion, only beliefs.

IIRC Sapiens, Neanderthals and Denisovans coexisted for some time, so it could be not about things that aren't human, but humans that are different. To this day, xenophobia and ethnocentrism are common attitudes.

I've never cleaned my fridge ice maker in 8 years, how much life expectancy do I have?

It's not so much that they're billionaires, but what they do to become, and stay, billionaires.

Because software is very brittle these days, it would occasionally perform surprise lasik on your guests.

They didn't seem terribly useful, compared to other long projects.

  • Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
  • Guide reproduction wisely – improving fitness and diversity.
  • Unite humanity with a living new language.
  • Rule passion – faith – tradition – and all things with tempered reason.
  • Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
  • Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
  • Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
  • Balance personal rights with social duties.
  • Prize truth – beauty – love – seeking harmony with the infinite.
  • Be not a cancer on the Earth – Leave room for nature – Leave room for nature.

Basically, a freethinker version of the Ten Commandments tablets.
