Now this is fascinating--I'm seeing no ticks in Plus! Maybe it varies by country (located in Canada, but I think I pay in USD)

Is this for Mail Plus or Proton Unlimited? I pay for Mail Plus, and have continually gotten the "P2P is blocked" page whenever I try to redownload the Ubuntu 22.04 ISO--maybe I should complain

Although looking at the VPN section, it does appear that the Free and Mail Plus plans have the same checkboxes, so perhaps I am reading it correctly

When I'm using FreeCAD, I'll use a spreadsheet for all of my variables, so everything is linked together by formulas. Next, I'll use datum planes rather than drawing directly on object faces (which completely solves topological naming), although I wouldn't attach the plane to the surface--just geometrically define the distance and angle in the spreadsheet and reference it directly (e.g. if I want a datum plane halfway up my object, I'll make its height h/2)

I'm also using Plasma 5 on my Surface Laptop Studio! Wayland brought a lot of touch advances, but unfortunately the onscreen keyboard still does not work with every application.

Personally, I think KDE Plasma is great for convertibles/touchscreen laptops, but still has a ways to go before I'm comfortable using it with touch on the Surface. Windows 11 is still the best "touch-optimized desktop environment" I've used, unfortunately, but I'm expecting good things as more apps are ported to Wayland!

especially flickering and performance

If my experience is any indicator, your GPU is fine :(. Any chance you're using mixed display scalings? I've got an RTX 3050 eGPU for my Plasma/Wayland laptop, and for the most part it actually works fairly smoothly (albeit more slowly compared to windows), but if I try to run a game at a higher resolution than my monitor (used by Plasma for mixed scaling) I get constant flashing/frame shifting, but when I drop it down to the native 1080p it starts working again

As a side note, X and eGPUs do not play well together, but Wayland is literally plug and play after installing the drivers--I can even hot plug/unplug as long as nothing's using the GPU!

I have owned Surface devices since the first Pro in 2013. In order of release date (but not necessarily the date I acquired them), I have owned a Surface RT, Surface Pro 1, Surface Pro 2, Surface 3, Surface Pro 4, Surface Book 2 (15"), Surface Go (1), and, most recently, the Surface Laptop Studio. Needless to say, I absolutely love the hardware (hardware) of these devices and am looking forward to discussions and troubleshooting with fellow surface enthusiasts!!!
