I remember trying to get wine gaming working in 2012. Oh boy was that painful and I didn't get good results. A year ago I switched to a Linux desktop. Oh boy have things come a long way. Super easy and ran perfectly, once I ditched my Nvidia card for an AMD one ;)

My guess is most likely and possibly better. YouTube compression does not like video games, so the image quality will be better uncompressed. Also this game is likely using a lot of photogrammetry which takes little GPU power

I believe it was this video by Veritasium that I was thinking of that explains how we got switches to think. Modern computers use the same principles. Just instead of physical switches, they use semiconductor switches. Which is were the rocks come into play. Semiconductors, in supper brief nut shell, are on the verge of conducting and need a little nudge of voltage to start conducting. Hence the semi part.
