This right here. Let's not single out India, there's a lot of shitheel governments to go around.

Yet it might have solved those problems had the sanctions been lifted 20+ years ago, allowing Cuba more access to diversifying their power grid through being able to get better deals for parts than they currently can.

The sanctions are part and parcel to why they're struggling, and to ignore that they've been extremely limited in who they can trade with, and that limits their options for budgeting what they can buy because they have very few suppliers, is foolhardy.

No, we can't fix the past, but we can recognize that it might have gone very differently had sanctions been lifted long ago.

There's more than one! A big one on the dialogue, and a smaller, squiggly one right on Calvin's face.

This is me but with old clunker computers.

Pro-tip: 90% of the time your best solutions with an old clunker are 1. Replace HDD with SSD 2. Add more RAM (if possible) 3. Disable Secure Boot 4. Install lightweight Linux distro

40+ year old unpopular opinion: MTG has always been pay to win.

I was too poor to dump money into the game as a kid and an adult.

Whatever critcisisms about "enshittification" this game was born to enshittify based on being pay to win.

So maybe save some of that anger for the giant corporations that pay beaucoup bucks to float their shitty ghost kitchens to the top of search results, using the same gamesmanship. The money they spend has far more influence than individuals do.

And with all due respect if "success" in being a restaurateur is mostly catering to influencers who care more about how your food looks than tastes and are often wasteful and don't even eat any of it, all while overworking the restaurant staff to make it happen... Fuck success.

Like how is that remotely news that a search engine indexes other people’s data to, you know, provide search results?

Absolutely, even the first Google Bombing goes back to 1999. It's hardly news at all.
