Agreed, humans do not deserve dogs.
Cats kill rats.
Dogs need a large space to roam.
On the one hand, they have nothing left. They have been voted our of everything. Can't really be heard or do anything then.
On the other hand, I do indeed find the lack of uprising weird. No street protests, no government buildings being ransact, no police officers being killed, flags everywhere.. oh. Like a reverse 6th of Januari.
Why? They have ZERO chance of winning in this system. By voting that way you are only enhancing the ultra rights chance of winning.
This wasn't a Republicans vs. Democrats election. It was Maga vs. Democracy. And people STILL voted for "something else".
Let's say the people where 50/50 split. People who vote maga will 100% vote for trump. So on the other side you CANNOT vote anything else BUT Kamala. Otherwise you are only diluting her chances.
Third has never won. And would not win this time. So by choosing third party you are enhancing Trumps chances of winning.
How can they? Every outlet has been taken away from them in the last election.

What that person meant was basically the difference between left and right or pro and anti abortion:
There right wants to ban abortion for everyone in fear of even 1 abortion that would have been a perfectly fine baby. (Which they would perceive as murder)
The left wants to allow abortions for everyone in fear of even one forced birth leading to a death. A death that was preventable by a abortion.
The right of a baby to live DOES NOT "TRUMP" THE RIGHT OF THE WOMAN TO CHOOSE. End of debate.
They are incredibly different perspectives.

Ubuntu is moving towards a closed environment with their snaps (when using apt install firefox, it installs a snap. That is just plain wrong). But they are doing other weird things as well.
RedHat, well: IBM. They mangled the whole Centos thing right before eol of the old one and the intro of a new version. Currently, when you legally decide to share the source code of Redhat, you are allowed to do that (according to the GPL) but Redhat will cancel your subscription after you do that,
So, yes, technically you are allowed to share the source code, but they will kick you out of the building.
All in all, Debian is the only one left for serious consideration in my servers / desktops.
