It was so impressive at first, I was surprised, but half the time I'm killed by players who are only partially rendered. Is this common?

I put up with it, because there aren't many FPS games with controller support on iOS. But it's annoying.

Across the board, nighttime visibility on US roads has gotten worse for drivers and cyclists alike imo.

That would be why I asked if it's their first one. They look different in different places and not everyone knows they even exist.

i’m confused. it looks like a normal soup spoon. is it unusually large for a soup spoon or is this your first soup spoon?

Note: I have not personally tried this. I've just been following Four Thieves Collective for several years now. I figure it may be helpful to folks who cannot access their meds anymore due to shortages or increased restrictions.

I didn’t even know this site had enough people to downvote someone this much this quickly. You’re breaking ground with your idiocy. 👏🎉

Unless you’re going into a field that requires it for licensure, there’s no point. You can always demonstrate skill instead. And while that isn’t good enough for a lot of people to hire you, it’s often good enough to start your own business.

Combine that with diminishing human rights and increasing corporate rights. It starts to make sense to become a corporation yourself rather than a formally educated worker. More pay, more protection, more freedom of choice, and less debt.

both are for speaking but vocalimage has a singing track i think. i haven’t tried that curriculum though.

They serve slightly different purposes. VocalImage kind of holds your hand through your session. You can think of it like Yousician but just for vocal training. They have a track for masculinization. VocalImage is a subscription, and I think it was $60USD for the year when I last paid for it. It does not give live pitch information. Uses AI.

Vocular is made for the purpose of masculinizing the voice. It is a tool for measuring your progress. The blog has information on exercises. It’s a one time fee of $4 USD. It gives live pitch information. No idea if it uses AI but doesn’t look like it.

I am a geek for bio and neuro feedback, so the latter of the two seemed like an obvious choice for me. But I feel like I wouldn’t find Vocular as useful without first trying and learning from VocalImage.

Anyone else voice train? What’s your protocol?

as for something i have personally experienced, i didn’t expect it to physically get harder to create tears when i felt like i was gonna cry. been on t for almost 15 years now. it’s gotten a little easier but still not anywhere near as easy as when i was young.

oh just now realizing you were indeed able to find it. ok perfect!

Conclusion

The TM group on long-term treatment with testosterone had higher aging-related aortic stiffening than the control groups. These findings indicate that aortic stiffness might be accelerated in the TM group receiving gender-affirming hormone treatment, and suggest a potential deleterious effect of testosterone on arterial function. Preventive measures in TM individuals receiving testosterone treatment, who are at higher risk for cardiovascular events, are highly recommended.

it’s not applicable to everyone obviously but it may interest some people who might be drawn to this space as well.

This is an interview with a physical therapist who helps people with pelvic floor dysfunction and has worked with trans clients. The interview discusses the 5 S’s used to remember the functions of the pelvic floor, the potential effects hormones might have on those muscles over time, and how to best mitigate risks — aside from kegels. It’s really hard to find articles on this that aren’t by TERFs, and I appreciated the frank but respectful tone.

I hate that the App Store doesn’t have this filter built-in. But this is the best list I have found so far.

this was one of the few links i could find that referenced the shelf life without just saying to look at the expiration date. everyone should have an extra portion of their meds for emergency rotated in their supply in my opinion. my doctor agrees but i want to do it safely and wisely.

any links or suggestions welcome

Summary

An analysis of 68 transgender people taking testosterone found a high prevalence of pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD), with 94.1% of participants reporting symptoms. The most common issues were urinary symptoms, affecting a significant portion of the study group. This highlights the need for further research and awareness of PFD among transgender men undergoing hormone therapy. The document does not specify how long the participants were on hormones.

I normally like CK One, but it's expensive and hard to find. I don't follow fragrances much, so I learned the hard way that it basically doesn't exist anymore. So I've been trying to find a replacement, but I live in an area where that's hard to find in person. I stumbled upon a post by the maker on TikTok and decided to give it a try (the smaller bottle was in the range I was willing to spend). It's a gender neutral scent, and I have no idea what the flower smells like. I was looking for a cologne, and some reviews suggest it's suitable for men. So we will see how it goes. I like the idea of trying ✨indy cologne✨

Results: SBME significantly reduced the subtests scores of ADHD symptoms, except for social problems. The symptom scores for restlessness were reduced in 93% of children, whereas improvement in self-control was observed in 89% of the children. The attention-deficit symptoms were reduced in 85% of children. Similarly, symptom scores for learning problems, impulsivity, and psychiatric problems were reduced for 78%, 67%, and 52% of children, respectively. It was observed that 74% of the children exhibited up to a 20% reduction, while 26% of children showed between a 21% and a 50% reduction in the total subtests scores.

Conclusion: Standardized extract of B monnieri was found to be effective in alleviating the symptoms of ADHD and was well-tolerated by the children.
