Yeah, fair point. My first computer was a Tandy TRS80, followed by a ZX81. You pretty much had to learn BASIC to get them to do anything at all.

Yeah, I concur. It would have been nice if the person had done more, but we got no idea who they were and what shit of their own they were dealing with. They picked the kitten up and took it to the nearest warm place. Lots of people would have walked on by.
I mean, I could be wrong. Maybe they'd failed to drown the kitten and brought it to the restaurant assuming it would make a tasty paté. But I'm thinking your guess is more likely.
Yeah, the fact that it was wet suggests that the person found it outside.
TIL, way too late! Cheers mate
Damn. Lol I kept that turbo button down all the time, thinking turbo = faster. TBF to myself it's a reasonable mistake! Mind you, I think a lot of what slowed that machine was the hard drive. Faster than loading stuff from a cassette tape but only barely. You could switch the computer on and go make a sandwich while windows 3.1 loads.
Yeah, TBF
"And millions of people ended up dead there.”
is pretty disingenuous too. They ended up dead because they were systematically murdered. Plus they mostly weren't prisoners of war, it was a targeted genocide.
I could be misremembering but I seem to recall the digits on the front of my 486 case changing from 25 to 33 when I pressed the button. That was the only difference I noticed though. Was the beige bastard lying to me?
Hell, I chipped in for reddit gold. I'm not well off, I just used the platform loads and didn't mind paying a little for something I enjoyed. Like so many others, my goodwill was pissed on, though, and I am just another paying customer that they lost. The API thing was the final nail in the coffin for me.
My guess, the stock price was propped up by dodgy foreign donors. And he's looking less and less like a worthwhile investment.
I don't think you know what Marxism is.
Well that's fuckin frightening.
I've just started playing beam ng drive. Looks great so far, but I'm pretty shit at it.
