I mean, I know trump is just an idiot repeating things he's been told or has heard somewhere on repeat but there is something credible to that idea.

It's the one downside in my opinion to protected areas and parks. No one is allowed to do anything in them that is seen as unnatural. I wouldn't suggest logging a park but selectively removing and cleaning up debris / dead trees should definitely be a thing.

They are a giant fire hazard.

A natural forest has regular fires to clear out the underbrush and dead debris. Parks never allow fires to occur and that dead debris builds up to a point that if a fire did happen, absolutely nothing would survive the heat whereas smaller more regular fires would allow for some of the older and stronger trees to survive and repopulate, depending on the forest ecosystem.

I was told the "effectiveness" as toilet paper was as a prank by foresters to newbies and purportedly causes an itchy butt hole when all the little fibres from the leaves which make them soft then break off and coat your crack.

I do hate them, though, as they totally take over disturbed areas and are difficult to remove.

You think martyr is worse than dictator?

Contact your representatives to ban rodent poison. My area just recently banned the use of many of them.

The Democrat "voters" haven't had a choice. It's the Democrat party that has pushed for Biden so hard and not allowed any opportunity for voters to choice someone else before now.

The democratic party wants Biden as president.

I suspect the majority of Democrat voters do not want him to run again.

I've always felt that land zoned for residential without anyone living on it should be heavily taxed, and residential land should be exponentially taxed depending on the size of it.

I see all this empty land in the middle of large cities doing nothing because someone bought a few acres 20 years ago and they are just sitting on it waiting for the price to go up and up and up when someone else could be building housing on it.

To make it confusing, Alberta follows daylight savings while Saskatchewan does not.

So if you li e anywhere else in Saskatchewan you don't change your clocks

If you live in Saskatchewan-side Lloydminster you do as it follows Alberta's clocks.

From what I understand.

Biology, unless you go into health related stuff.

It looks like wasted space but there are 264 houses in the circular communities south of the highway and only 230 houses in the other area to the west of them.

Looks like a lot less roads as well

It would be neat if they planted wild and native plants and trees between the circular communities instead of lawns of grass.

Looking up information online about your car?

I love having to specify that it's the new model of X and not the original model of X instead of just looking up model Y

Why can't you complain about a company being shit when there are other options?

I don't use a lot of products, I still complain about them being shit because they deserve the bad press.

Just bought a ROG STRIX 850w PSU and it came with this monstrosity of a cable that I've never seen before.

The two ends are entwined between eachother in a way that you can't un-entangle without popping an end piece off

Is this an actual real cable design or is it mis-manufactured? It offends my sensibilities.

What companies will you never give another dollar to?

What happened that put them on your blacklist?

Hi, me and my cousins had a good thing going for a long time playing Catan but we are looking to shake things up. We have played Catan regularly for over s year, but find that it's getting a little stale. We are looking for a game that requires a lot of strategy, planning, teamwork but also betrayal and backstabbing, yet also not take half an hour to set up and dismantle.

In Catan we love that the board changes every game and therefore the strategy, but found that once we got to the castles and knights expansion there was one strategy that beat out all the rest which sort of deflated the fun (first person to get science bonus seemed to win 90% of the time).

Any other board games out there for beginners that don't take forever to set up and put away? Not huge into role playing, but never say never I guess.
