Anyone in charge of a non-publicly traded company will want to do what's best for the company in the long term instead of milking as much from it as fast as they can, so I don't think that replacing Gabe by someone else will be the end of Valve like so many people claim.

Every now and then you run into games where you lose a ton of time trying to figure out a good controller mapping to play it properly, but in terms of working, most stuff do.

Oh and the battery can drain out pretty fast too.

Pretty bad business decision. Even with the subscription in place they could give a year of it for free on new purchases and then just charge 2k instead of 1.7k. They would get the same money, people would be ok with it as it would be free for the time they use it and the company would even make some money out of resold units that would require the subscription.

What we do in the shadows, for sure.

Another show you may have already watched but it's the first thing I think of when talking lighthearted is Parks and Recreation, though the the first season is not good.

We kinda need to adapt the saying now. When someone finds gold, you need to sell wood and iron for all the shovel makers that will show up.

Just last month I was thinking about asking somewhere if there was any chance we could ever find more than the usual stuff or if there would be no way for a perfect preservation to happen naturally. Guess I have my answer now.

America's political compass is weird. On one side you have a party that mostly just wants to keep the status quo, only really doing changes where it is already desperately behind the times. And on the other side you have the conservatives.

Last presidential election here in Brazil some churches were asking their people to swap children with other couples so that those children could keep watch to ensure everybody is voting for the right candidate (children are the only ones allowed to join you in the voting booth).

My favorite 8 bit game was The Little Samson. So few people know about it but it was an incredible game for that time.

Genuine question: can he really get votes from conservatives if his state did all of those things that conservatives are constantly demonizing?
