If you wanna expand your site in the future, something like Kirby CMS might be great. It is paid but dev experience, community and loading speed of pages are much better that with something like Wordpress.

Yep exactly, a Magic Trackpad is my main input device. It’s great for design work where you often interact with canvases and might need to scroll in every direction. It’s also more comfortable to use for long time periods.

It will inflate numbers for the investors though and might get this shit funded in the future. So, better not give them even the traffic if you can avoid it.

Time Machine doesn’t use screenshots, it shows a folder at different states throughout time. The folders and files are fully interactive too. It’s much more akin to how git works.

That’s pretty much a completely different feature though? It creates local backups. It respects passwords and encryption. It doesn’t take periodical screenshots of what you’re doing and reads their content to feed an LLM.

A semi-professional portafilter espresso machine paired with a great grinder.

I can make coffee at home that’s better than what’s being served in most cafés and I can just have that for breakfast every morning. Felt like quite the quality of life improvement.

This is another game I’m really looking forward to. The claustrophobic nature of a submarine fits the small screen of the playdate really well.

A lot of these hateful beliefs are reinforced by these people’s filter bubbles. Forcing them to other places can improve the overall situation.

Yeah I agree. I learned the most when I just set my mind to accomplish something. This will actually get you to do real troubleshooting as well and not just checking where you failed the tutorial.

Reminds me of how stories are everywhere now or how everyone copied clubhouse for a while. Instead of strengthening what a product is good at, these companies want their products to he everything at once and often lose focus about what their product was originally good at.

Telegram for example becomes a fully blown social network now but message sync and notifications between different clients are spotty now - that’s what made them great for me in the beginning.

Its pretty easy to just redirect Gmail‘s messages to a new account. Some providers even allow you to import previous emails. My switch to Protonmail was incredibly smooth.

To be clear: I prefer to pay for things instead of having to see ads but 13€ / month!? For a meta product that has inherently user-hostile design patterns even without ads?

Who does this appeal to?

Some context: .exe is the executable format for Windows. It's fine that Valve is using some translation layer instead of doing a port of Counter Strike 2. This error does however suggest that they don't even test their games before releasing them on macOS.

The first reply to a comment is always indented one unit too far to the right because that comment gets both the indentation and the line to the left of it. It makes the comment view look kinda messy and wrong.

The first reply to a comment should probably only have the line next to it and not be indented futher to look correct.

You can take a look at how voyager is handling it.
