I've got two kids and it feels like at least two of the four of us has had a cold going back to mid-december.

I've had this cough thing for the last few days, figured I was over the worst of it...until I woke up this morning with a horrifically blocked nose; been sneezing and blowing my nose since. Will it ever end?

Monday! The long weekend is nearly over and if you're anything like our house you've eaten nothing but meat, potatoes and chocolate. And maybe, just maybe you've managed to find some time over the last seven days to play some videogames!

Let us know what you've been playing over the last seven days.

My eldest is screaming because she didn't get as many eggs as she thought she would. Thanks Bluey.

How's your weekend going?

Hello, Good morning and welcome to another fine edition of What We're Playing; our weekly round up everything that's kept us glued (or not) to our TV screens, desktop monitors, portable displays and whatever else you crazy kids are playing games on these days.

So, what have you been playing over the last seven days?

I'll kick us off I guess.

The Kings of Leon song about one's 'Sex being on fire'? Yeah I have no idea what that means. What does 'your sex is on fire mean'?

God damn this game is gorgeous.

Congratulations to the team and the community as a whole for this pretty amazing achievement.

Turns out the one level that the group was having trouble with was originally uploaded using something called a TAS, which renders it null and void, so they didn't actually have to beat that one to finish them all.

**Edited title. Making sure that the word 'level' doesn't fit. Have a good day. *

One of my biggest complaints about season one was the constant jumping between time periods. I understand the necessity, given the story that they are trying to tell, but I think it took an awful lot of people out of the show, and made it even harder to bond with those adult characters that are going to be carrying the show going forward.

Season two should feel a lot more.....stable by comparison.

I'm on board with most of this... although (speaking as a parent) I don't agree that Lyanna would either want to, or expect Rhaegar to be okay with the idea of naming his newborn son after his (now dead) son.

What do you think?

Moanings fellow Dad's. Hows life?

I've had the week off work and despite it being a nonstop exhausting battle to the death with two young kids...I've had a really nice time with them both. In short: fuck work for robbing me of that time with my kids.....

At the same time my partner vowed to take the kids out for a few hours today so I'm looking forward to a bit of Me time.

How's your week been?

Podcast, word of mouth, magazines, ~~Reddit~~ Lemmy?

The show is coming back, and I'm anticipating a bit more activity on the community so I think it probably makes sense to hash this out now.

Everyone goes on about how important this book is, but I got barely 1/3 if the way through and bounced off it hard.

Horses for courses I guess.
