Yes, it is concerning. I don't remember where I read this, but someone was saying that their account was falsely flagged for suspicious activity and they lost access to everything, including Pass. Very similar to what can happen on Google. I don't want to say much more details as I might be misremembering and don't want to spread misinformation.
I don't think any context is needed, it's just about when you have an idea that you think is great and novel but it turns out it has already been done 30 years prior.
Problem is that some sports are really unfair towards one of the sexes (and it's not always men who have the advantage). I definitely think it should be mixed for sports where there's no advantage.

I agree on the merits, but the contrarian in me has to point out that any company is a monopoly through some convoluted interpretation. For example: Logitech has a monopoly on mice and keyboards that work with their proprietary software.
