I'm going to do the same later this year as like you my setup is 10 years plus, though I'll re-install Arch again What MB, GPU card etc did you buy? , as I'm out of touch with the latest equipment now, so would be grateful for a heads up

Yesterday, Sunday another beta 14 became available even though the last one was meant to be the last one, not sure what was modified

It sounds like the best option would be a dual boot, Linux for everything except games and when you want to play just boot into Windows. If you do this i would strongly suggest a two HD set up, one for windows and one for Linux, for two reasons, if you don't like Linux then you still have the original windows setup, two Windows will at one moment wipe the dual boot grub and you'll 'lose' the Linux startup, unless you have one OS per Hard Disk. I don't game anymore. Like you I also have an old card Gtx760 ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Try Lineage. I ran it on my Pixel 3 for about two years when Google stopped updating it. Then when I decided to sell it, just reflashed the Google OS back on it

The lasted beta 14.5 is available for download this morning (27/7/2023]

I've been trying for yonks (>two full days, plus crashing HA along the way) to get duckdns to work on my home assistant, so that I can remote access it from my telephone. Without success. There are pages and pages of people trying to get it to work, with multiple suggestions, mostly without success. I then came across Tailscale, it took me all of ten minutes to set it up, and WORKING. Whow, so hope this helps anybody trying to get remote access to their home assistant. This is not a publicity for Tailscale or Duckdns, just I'm so pleased to get it finally working.

The lasted beta 14.4 for your #Google #pixel is out and can be downloaded, it seems quite small as downloaded and installed quite quickly
