Anyone have any general anesthetic I can borrow?
Hands you a beer
Here ya go, buddy.

I get what you're saying but the forgetful customer is explicitly what they said they want, which is dumb any way you look at it. Many times you're forced into signing up for subscription, or coerced under the guise of a free trial. Now this wouldn't be as bad if they came back and were like, "hey we see you haven't used our service in a while, do you still need it?" rather than just leeching money from the user. The system is designed to purposely allow the user to make these errors and that's wrong any way you want to shape it.
Adding it to my watch list. 👍
Reminds me of the Skyrim meme: Explore ancient tomb. Find fresh cabbages!
Let's go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for this to all blow over
Fage is definitely my favorite yogurt. I'm always like "how the fuck is this so God damn good? It has virtually no sugar or anything added"
Also in case you didnt know, for many reduced fat items they just end up adding more sugar.
Stop Tucker, I was already voting for Kamala.
It's even funnier when you realize ALL the times Heero almost kills her. Like, right in episode 1 he almost shoots her shuttle down.
Right? It's also comically villainous. Like being evil just for the sake of being evil. They could've teased it a bit more and done a Soylent Green.... "Soylent Aether... is PEOPLE!" Then again, calling it the "Immortal Reactor" was already a huge hint. I had pretty much figured out they were using immortals as energy just from the name so the exposition wasn't a huge shock.
The massive juxtaposition though... like it's a bit wacky with the whole "I'm going to be a streamer" thing (which I thought was awesome) then this.
There's a LOT of nonsense with Sovcits but you basically just need to understand a couple things. Sovcits basically believe that the government has some secret account with millions of dollars in it in your name and that there are some equally secret methods to access that money. So basically this "coupon" would try to pay for goods using that secret account, using a secret and convoluted process, and using magic legal jargon.
The bank just said, "Sorry, we don't accept whatever this nonsense is. Plz send real money."
Back in 2016 I worked at a place that had beer in the fridge for after work shindigs. The day after Trump was elected we were all in the kitchen drinking beer at 10AM instead of coffee. No one questioned it.
We're starting to see some more of Liz's true colors. She comes off as exceptionally self-righteous and almost villainous herself. Even after she almost gets Alicia killed and gets the prince stabbed she's unrepentant.
@rikka@ani.social
The prince taking Alicia's side and going against Liz was pretty epic though and obviously something Liz was not expecting. I'm further led to believe that Liz has knowledge of the game just like Alicia.
This would also be cute if we weren't constantly reminded that Alice is only 13...
And while Alicia doesn't get to act the Villainess since the Prince and King already reprimanded the perpetrators, this was a good look for her.
At the end we learn that Liz controls all elements at levels over 80. Considering that her mana went out of control when she was practicing for her talent show I find this curious. It makes me wonder if she didn't fake the incident to paint Alicia to be the bad guy.
