A modernized adaptation of the H.P. Lovecraft classic. Del, a novelist, moves into his ancestral home after a family tragedy with the intentions of starting his life anew. He is joined by his younger writing partner, Norris and his wife Amy, as they all start this new chapter of their lives. The family home doesn't bring Del the peace he desires, plagued by hallucinations and nightmares, he begins to uncover the dark secrets his family has kept hidden for generations, triggering his fated descent into madness. To the horror of the town inhabitants, the last of the Delapore bloodline has returned home.

You guys have way too much distrust in the fellow user. It's just weird cartoon.
I saw the movie. Nice but a bit disappointing. The begin is good, the atmosphere are there and the actors did a good job... but the scare never arrived. I can agree on the "head trip" part, but not so much on the "Lovecraftian" one.
High Strangeness is much stranger than “low strangeness,” or everyday strangeness. Seeing lights in the sky that you shouldn’t expect to be there? That isn’t necessarily a UFO or alien abduction team (AAT). It could be a secret military jet or [REDACTED]. High Strangeness would be if you went to take a video of this craft, and suddenly your phone’s battery dropped from 80% to 0% charge in a matter of seconds. Or if the video you manage to take is corrupted, altered, tainted.
With the right amount of abacus...
Just in case someone truly believe that all this s**tshow would just disappear without Trump around. Let's face it, he's a symptom of the problem, not the main cause.
