Maybe, but the Nazis did invent a way to make methamphetamine. It was touted as a way to keep soldiers alert of the battlefield.

There is no way Trump would ever pick a non white person, nor would he pick a woman, well unless she was hot and he would use the promise of being VP to sleep with her.

Trump is super racist and misogynist.

Most of those 100k kids waiting to be adopted are older kids. A lot of people want to start with an infant. Not everyone is equipped to adopt a teenager who has been in foster care for years. Then there are people who want bio kids.

OMG that was terrible. I usually proof read before posting. I'll get that cleaned up. Thanks for pointing that out.

Oh, and you‘ll help your family members to be jailed, if somehow involved in criminal acts.

The police have been using that data to solve crimes for years. That's how they found the golden state killer and others.

Public genealogy databases, which contain information from people who have obtained their DNA profiles from companies like 23andMe and Ancestry.com, have become a powerful police tool...

That's where the trend is putting books spine first into a bookshelf came from too.

The tv producers don't want to spend days asking for permission to use book spine graphics in the shot, not spend time blurring the film, so they flip the books around to hide all the spine art. It's on HGTV a ton.

My search results keep wanting me to go to Reddit. I'm trying to avoid it, but it keeps calling.

I'm not scrolling there like I did before the "Spez killed the 3rd party app migration". I miss the level of engagement and ease of finding communities. Lemmy is decent, but the post volume is lacking. If I scroll new now, and again 12 hours later, there's not much new stuff before I see the stuff from last time.

No one will vote 3rd party. If you didn't learn that lesson in 2020, I guess you never will.

I didn't get a degree. I got enough skills to get a job.

Database stuff. I write SQL for a living. Data analyst or report writer would be the generic entry level job titles.

I went back to college at 30. That set me up for a career I actually enjoyed and a wage that was double the dead end job I had at the time.
