Sometimes that gets me, that poor shiba was somebodies beloved pet and now look at what’s happened.

When you have a society that idolizes the richest with little consideration to how they got there, eventually the only qualification or sign of competence required by that society is the size of your bank account.

It’s amazing how he hit that level of scumbag where the default response is victim blaming, anytime there’s a story about him not paying it always ends up at “are you surprised? That’s what he does.”

That’s still wrong though? I hate how he gets such a free pass

Yea and sackets population is 1,435 according to the last census and today over 1,000 people showed up to protest this fuck lol. I live 15 minutes away from this traitor and I’m going to be as annoying as I’m legally allowed to be.

That’s what needs to happen. I’m mad as hell, I’m making my calls to my reps every day, and as soon as I finish moving into my new place I’m going to start going to my town meetings. I’m going to find out what positions I can run for and I’m going to try to be the elected official I wish I had now.

We could be the greatest country in the world if enough people actually gave a shit to do something to earn that title instead of just claiming it. Complaining and rallying and signing petitions hasn’t done shit, if you still believe that we can be the country we were told we were someday it’s time to put up or shut up.

Change isn’t going to start with the president, it’s going to start with your school board and the people in your municipal buildings.

I suppose the other option is that he isn’t being sneaky at all and is just emboldened by the current regime in the US. With everything going on this seems like the kind of thing that will get a finger wag and a promise to get to it later once some fires are put out and we deal with the arsonist burning everything down.

Unironically it’s just the actual experience of calling customer service in the US being brought to global politics

Who knows, perhaps they are learning to fear again
