Yes but you don't have to be in game mode.
JunkStore
Hey PerfectDark alerted us to your query. We use it on vanilla Arch in Big Picture Mode on our laptops. But we know people use it with Bazzite and some other distros. We also test on Bazzite in a VM.
If you want to set your partner up with it, you'll have to download/install Decky and then Junk Store. Then to open up the QAM to get to Junk Store you would need to push ctrl+2.
If you have any other questions, queries or need help/guidance please feel free to find us in out discord server (that's one of two places we regulary patrol). Discrod Invite Link: https://discord.gg/HS9QtX5kXW
Alright then it's settled I'll get started playing BioShock. I've been meaning to ever since I purchased it way back for my XBox360, so over a decade ago (almost 2 if i'm being honest)! It's about time I actually played it if I've had it for that long 😅!
I just finished playing Cat Quest (Epic). Prior to that I played through Cat Quest II and Dredge (gog).
On the look out for a new game, I have a few I could go back to but undecided as of yet. I may start on my Prince of Persia bundle that I got via Gog last month or BioShock... There are just too many choices!
Hey hope you are well! Your posts are amazing as always, I just read your latest Steam Deck News post!
I must admit I haven't actually played this game, I guess I'll have to add it to my backlog of games to play.
I have recently gone back to playing DREDGE with a vengence so it might take me a while to try this game out.
Ah ok, yeah not sure what the issue could have been then. If you have any issues or questions please do let us know.
Hahaha you were correct we are lurking. Eben told me you posted on here so I thought I'd check it out. Your posts have always been amazing! We both thank you for the shout out and I must say I have missed you!
Hey sorry you had issues early on. This sounds like these issues could be flatpak related instead of Junk Store related. But yes back then it was in beta so there would have been issues. If you're willing, give it another go as it's pretty solid these days. If you have any issues you can find us here or on discord.
We don't think so but we don't have any nvidia machines to veryfi this.
We suggest testing it to see, it might be better with updated hardware. Testing it out will be the only way to verify for yourself.
Maybe someone else who reads this and has more experiece/knowledge around this can chime in to offer advice.
