This seems actually to be true.

I mean I can think of one or two reasons why, but why is this an issue for you?

[–] Johanno 17 points 3 months ago

That's exactly it.

The unit does restart about once every week and then goes back to suspend to ram.

You basically will never notice the restart unless you cut off power. And additionally drain all capacitors.

Well basically we have rockets now. If we want to use more advanced technology we use that, or drones.

When we need bombs those old ones still do their job.

While the town is that old I promise you that almost nothing looks like it was 1200 years ago. Maybe they can hold on that tradition 100 years but at some point the people won't bother. Need more space or don't see the point of it anymore

This was all about the news probably 2 years ago. Chrome uses a new api manifest that does not allow for changes in websites like blocking specific type of content. Once manifest v3 is fully implemented and enforced there will be no way for ublock origin to work correctly anymore.

Well in theory you can explain how the model comes to it's conclusion. However I guess that 0.1% of the "AI Engineers" are actually capable of that. And those costs probably 100k per month.

That's why I hate the term AI. Say it is a predictive llm or a pattern recognition model.

[–] Johanno 4 points 3 months ago (4 children)

Why that specifically?

Pfff the distro itself isn't affected by the drama really. The community is. However in a few years nobody will remember really. Maybe the forks are still around then.
