There's a way to embed a map in the article itself. See The Maps for Wikipedia page for information on how to do that.

Otherwise I am unaware of a tool that allows for a PNG or SVG export or OSM data.

Right now use Windows 10 on my PC. Not interested in 11 at all. I've been thinking about buying an old chromebook and tossing Linux (probably Mint) on it. A friend made one of those and I thought it was really neat. Just gotta find the time, I suppose.

Nice. Medium is a blog-type site, right? Wish they mentioned if they were working on having the blogs be federated.
