So you're telling me a company would rather take one sale and two resales than 3 sales?

[–] JASN_DE@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago (4 children)

Why would they want resales?

Why would a game developer want that?

The other bad news: there are so many vulnerabilities on all systems which can be used to gain root-level access, it's just a matter of time. Also, even future vulnerabilities will be an issue, as the underlying Sinkclose attacks will still work.

Docker image is already updated.

Works fine for me.

That'd have worked too, yeah.

Corsair's comparison image shows the 80 Plus methodology giving their top end PSU a "Gold" rating, while the new methodology has it at "Platinum".

The PSUs to the right are small form factor, not necessarily the top end.

True, but even the earliest commanders usually frowned on spears coming their way which were meant for the enemy.

To be fair: an athlete holding the spear by the end and hurling it... somewhere by accelerating it through rotating the body like a hammer thrower does sound slightly dangerous.

Also, the farthest throw was actually 104.8 meters.

They failed through a combination of exactly that plus the wrongfully held opinion that their usual plan of selling cheaper than other supermarkets and thereby pushing them out of the market would work the same as in other countries.

Doesn't really work if the other supermarkets are already working with very thin margins. They burnt through a little over 3 billion € by the time they left the German market.

Sounds about right.
