The idea is that the router plugs in to your home internet and the server into the router. Between the two they get the server able to handle incoming requests so that you can host services on the box and address them from the broader Internet.

Why would I need a separate router for that? I'd need to configure the main router anyway.

The combination washer below and dryer on top is so common that you can buy a frame which fixes the dryer on top of the washing machine. The weight is not an issue.

It would make most sports incredibly boring to watch, as well as frustrating for many athletes. Boring sport means less money, which would also mean less teams overall.

An Austrian. What is this, 1924?

No, why? That's capitalism for you. It's still a US company/subsidiary, just with a German owner.

Could you extend on the "archival" parts a little? What would your daily(?) use look like?

What is it

Mostly fairytale magic.

what can be legit gleaned from it in an empirical or useful sense?

Don't bother.

Interestingly, I didn't even have to touch it. Apparently it was still on my main page and Boost would simply crash after opening, until I hid the post in a web browser.

And you think this behavior magically goes away just because it's a different language?

"Toastbrotmann" ist jetzt auch nicht wirklich die beste Verkleidung.

a motivated group of talented Rust OS developers could build a Linux-compatible kernel, from scratch, very quickly, with no need to engage in LKML politics

Riiight... Because those developers would always be of the same opinion... Good luck with that.

What should be the caterpillar of an African death's-head hawkmoth (as far as my Google-fu tells me) having lunch in a botanical garden on the Azores. That thing was massive, but I guess you need a certain size for a 12cm wingspan.

Dice in the Crete sunset. 5 ones in the first throw.

We were playing a game called "to 10000", where different groups are worth a certain amount of points. 3x 1 in one throw is worth 1000, 4x 10000. We counted this one as 100k points in one throw, although the wife was somehow not amused.

The picture came out better than expected, I mostly took it as proof this actually happened.
