I was shocked when I first started working in the tech industry how many people will still click a 'request' or 'send' button multiple times if it doesn't IMMEDIATELY go through or grey out the button.

Then they wonder why it gives them 14 copies of the same error.

"Well, how many times did you hit 'request'? 15? Hmm. What could it be? We'll never know."

"9th billing from a movie 20 years ago complains about vague use of his character (who had been replaced by two other actors already)"

He argues that TV is better because it can tell stories over a longer period of time, and that movies are becoming bad because they tell the same story over a longer period of time?? This is giving 'old man yells at cloud' energy.

Well, do you like everyone you meet? Why expect everyone else to?

You can make the world's best apple pie and there are still people who don't like apples. That's not a flaw of the pie or them. That's just life.

I wouldn't say you get over it, more that you get used to it and realize that it's not (always) about you.

So yes, I’ll concede he is making plans to leave the country

I had considered editing my comment to reflect the fact that he did not make plans to leave.

You don't get to have it both ways. How you're unable to discern that is too much for my brain. Have a good day.

You admit he's a liar, and that he's making plans on leaving the country so why trust him when he says WHY he says he's making those plans? Again, he's a convicted felon who has yet to be sentenced. For being a stickler on 'context', you seem to be ignoring that part.

Also, are you going to edit your initial comment to admit that he did make plans to leave the country now that you conceded he did?

I think when JD uses one, it's called a sophylactic.

Her HUSBAND signed the terms + conditions for a free 1 month trial. They're claiming that he can't sue for a wrongful death on her behalf because of THAT.

You claimed he never made plans to leave the country, so I posted his exact quote where he makes plans to leave the country and now you're claiming I'm misquoting him?

He's a convicted felon who has yet to be sentenced making plans to leave the country. Why didn't you mention that in your list of other factors and context we could be talking about?

In a series of social media posts, Trump accused Harris of stealing his idea, saying that “she sounds more like Trump than Trump, copying almost everything.”

In a functioning democracy, this would be a good thing if you agree with your opponent on something. Instead, he has to complain that only he is allowed to use popular ideas, like the weird little baby he is.

*in another country *if he loses the election

That's fleeing.

"If something happens with this election, which would be a horror show, we'll meet the next time in Venezuela, because it'll be a far safer place to meet than our country," Trump said to Musk.

#"OK, so we'll go. You and I will go, and we'll have a meeting and dinner in Venezuela."

Cut this shit out, dude. He said it.

Where do you think Venezuela is?
