Yeah I did an 11.68K system on my house with battery backup for the critical stuff like refrigerator. Cost was 18K for parts, permits, and PE drawings. Me and my wife were able to do all the work except for moving the panels up on the roof. Two friend helped with that task.

The Intel CEO had always come from engineering fab. This kept the high level decisions made by somebody who understood the product and how it was made.

Then CEO and the head of fab was caught sexually harassing employees. They were both shown the door. So no CEO and the guy who was next in line were gone. They needed the number 2 in fab to take over fab to keep production up.

So the board decided to make the CFO the new CEO. A guy who had a MBA was running a chip company that had only been run by engines.

Profits went up for a while but then Intel struggled to maintain innovation and properly upgraded fab and chip design. Add the increasing skill of rivals and a increase in importance in chips other then server and desktop. which were the only areas Intel was king. It's a recipe for failure.

I use VSCodium and other then bulk comment / uncomment and renaming I'm not sure what you're talking about.

I'd love some examples to help improve.

Copyright is classified as a legally enforced monopoly. So are patents.

Personally I think both have been made overly long in duration and broad in scope. But without some exclusive period I can't see things like TV shows, movies, books, or games being made with even 1% of the current quality or quantity.

I really dislike lower decks. I find it annoying and lacking in ideas. I feel exactly the same about Final Space the previous show by the creator.

That said I don't think it's bad or not very "Star Trek". It just completely grates on me.

To contrast I really like TOS, TNG, and DS9. I thought VGR and ENT felt "Star Trek" but badly written. DSC and PIC are badly written and don't feel "Star Trek" to me. I've herd the final PIC season is pretty good so I'll give it a shot at some point.

The good news is being vaccinated and boosted greatly reduces your risk of long covid even if you do catch it.

Yeah Piper Peeri is the tiny blond from the meme with her and five big black guys. She has some dark stuff in her past that I always think of when that meme pops up.

Yes but they can always decide the lower court got it wrong and overrule them. It's a nice way of waiting until after the election to make the decision.

The way things are going he is either going to leave before the election or shortly after the election.

New Who tends to run on Bugs Bunny logic but also wants you to take it seriously. Try some old Doctor Who if you can handle very bad effects. Early Tom Baker or the Jon Pertwee stuff at least tries to make sense.

Also they often have the doctor have to work at the problem and have a plausible solution. Now it's just I pushed the radiation in my shoe.

Back then the sonic screwdriver was just a high tech swiss army knife. The doctor would use it to open panels and rewire things. These days it's a do anything magic wand.

I think Jodie Whittaker could have been a good doctor but like Peter Davison she was a doctor with a bad show runner and bad writers.

A portion of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore has collapsed after a large boat collided with it early on Tuesday morning, sending multiple vehicles into the water.

At about 1.30am, a vessel crashed into the bridge, catching fire before sinking and causing multiple vehicles to fall into the water below, according to a video posted on X.

“All lanes closed both directions for incident on I-695 Key Bridge. Traffic is being detoured,” the Maryland Transportation Authority posted on X.

Matthew West, a petty officer first class for the coastguard in Baltimore, told the New York Times that the coastguard received a report of an impact at 1.27am ET. West said the Dali, a 948ft (29 metres) Singapore-flagged cargo ship, had hit the bridge, which is part of Interstate 695.
