So im watching Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction and you have these characters that are seniors in high school that then start university but the way the characters behave if the show did not tell me I would think they were junior high going into high school.

So in the comics topic I don't seem to be able to choose a view type like hot or new or such but when I went to a specific community I see its there but it changed a bit with drop downs sorta off to the left. Was there a change? Is this intended long term or did it just not take for topics?

So I stopped using a community do to a post seemingly being removed. Feedback on things is not great for what im working from now and im not good with using the modlog link areas and such. Now I had someone relate to me to post on this about that but im like. Nah seems like a drama thing. Thing is I have got 404's what I assume is removed links and they seem like relatively legit posts. One was from stamets saying why he is leaving on casual conversation and I know that user is pretty legit so it seems like his and the others I have seen is based on mods not liking the content. So im writing here just to find out if other folks are seeing this. I mean we are the federation so can just move on to some other place. I may just now block communities that have a bs removal as I don't want to associate with whoever is doing the bs mods. What do people think?

Adding some as I think I have issues getting to the point. My end questions are:

If people have seen heavier handed mod activity in like lets say the past month?

What people do about it?

Ok so this is likely one of my wierder experiences with the fediverse and is a bit of a story that ends with something wierd with https://piefed.social/topic/chilling/comics?sort=new&layout=list - So to sorta start this off I rarely post but had taken to posting a comic I like called devils panties to comicstrips@lemmy.world. One day when I clicked on replies to the comic I was getting 404 pages and I could not find the comic anymore. There was no notification or anything that it was removed but I checked the sidebar rules and it did not seem to break any. So I posted again and the same thing came back. I suspected that things can be removed without notice or such or just maybe something was breaking so posted to comics@lemmy.ml and that went fine. I changed to posting to comics@lemmy.ml but then noticed that the comic was being posted by someone else to comicstrips@lemmy.world. It did not show up greyed so it presumably was not a bot. I figured I would bow out as I was going to stop posting once I got a job as when working I tend to not be able to really get to anything even small like this (im not a good waker upper and I tend to be toast after work). The next day though no post was done by the other user so late before I went to bead I did the lemmy.ml post and one hour later it appeared in lemmy.world. Its been pretty consistantly one hour after. Anyway the whole thing made me feel pretty wierd but then today its sorta on another level. When perusing https://piefed.social/topic/chilling/comics?sort=new&layout=list I see the duplicates the user does to lemmy.world but I don't see my original posts to lemmy.ml but I do see another comic posted to lemmy.ml and if I go directly to comics@lemmy.ml I see my post. Anyone have any idea whats going on???

So crunchy roll has this sorta rolling unlock of animes every other month or so (sorta. its real inconsistant on if its just subs or just three or four episodes or just the first season but once it awhile it will be like a whole thing) and it seems for april they have award winners which includes Dan Da Dan. Have to say at first watching it I was sorta meh. Felt a bit like foolie coolie but not quite as out there. I have to say though when the pretty girl got her talisman I just found it hilarious and have warmed up to it quite a bit.

I hate all this bs. I want progressive taxes, regulations, and social services. It galls me with all this smokescreen crap.

I do just love it when folks dis voting or action or anything like that. Oh don't do stuff because its not going to work or your just trying to make yourself feel good. eff off bootlickers and everyone do whatever you feel you need to (do try to always vote with some judiciousness and conscientiousness).

That is not something I would think to eat but im guessing I could eat most everything that had enough sugar, salt, and vinegar. Its like the rule of deep frying or cheese sauce.

I was watching buffy and the eighth episode of the first season a demon is scanned into the computers. This is a funny time as its when people where online with dialup. All the same it had a quote I feel is apropos to the current period. Truns out that show had a bit of the simpsons precog ability:

artist comment was they made this three years ago (thus the pregnancy). I don't recall seeing it though so im guessing they ended up not using it at the time.
