Ah yeah, I don't think anyone is having a serious political discussion on the internet, it's all just dunking and trolling. IRL I've heard many people be completely upfront about it when talking to other leftists.

I don't think you need to provide sources or preemptively defend wikipedia.
In my experience the kind of communists who want to shoot all the anarchists have a detailed knowledge of the history of shooting anarchists and talk openly about the fact that they'll shoot all the anarchists.
Also anarchists tend to be pretty aware of what happens when you oppose state power.
I'm Jewish, I'm very aware that the side running brutal racist internment camps was meaningfully less bad than the side running brutal genocidal death camps. Neither qualify as good.
Sure, there are no good guys in any war, since the good guys are never the ones with guns killing each other.
But the more genocidal death camps you have, the bigger a baddy you are. It's not that difficult to understand.
If they've already proven they can steal and lie, of course they'll get VC money.
White House has absolutely zero control over an immediate and permanent cease fire, or lifting the Gaza blockade, that's all on Israel
The white house has plenty of influence over israel, they've just chosen to green light the genocide and netanyahu's regional escalation against the advice of our own experts.
An arms embargo would empower anti-netanyahu voices in israel who could point to his mismanaging of israel's most important bilateral. It would reduce the rate and kind of weapons the idf could bring to bear against civilians, saving lives.
It's not murder when the rich do it.
You can find isolated examples from western cuisines (often rich people food) but mixing savoury and sweet is still an exception. You don't get things like how palm sugar is used in so many savory staples from SE Asian. Applesauce or quince paste aren't as ubiquitous in western food as chutney is in Indian.
I've also just met way more westerners who talk about salty/sweet mixes being gross. Raisins in rice, pineapple on pizza and fruit in salad are all things I've heard (mostly americans or australians) react strongly to.
You know that feeling you get when you look into your dog's eyes? The same parts of your dog's brain became active, so they're probably feeling similar emotions at that moment.
I always think of white people as the ones complaining about raisins in food. So many delicious savory dishes with raisins from the Middle East or India provoke strong reactions from western pallets used to food that only does 1 thing, rather than combining multiple flavours.
I don't think it's fair to characterize global colonialist powers like Britain, France, or the US as not violent expansionists.
