What’d Warren do?

[–] GuyFawkes@midwest.social 7 points 1 hour ago

Wow, like usual just a vote or two away…

I’m starting to think it’s not an accident.

Yep, they’ve lost that privilege. See Reconstruction for another example of folks losing the privilege of voting for the direction of this nation.

You missed the part about barring his supporters from ever influencing (voting running funding supporting etc) another election by whatever means necessary.

Or how about they, and just hear me out here, wait until they have all of the proponents of the measure THERE before calling a vote? Gee, it’s almost like they wanted to say “we’re trying” without actually getting anything meaningful done!

Spineless asshole. Hope they primary the hell out of him.

Feels more like a pressure cooker to me, one that’s rapidly approaching its tolerances…

This angers me far more than it should…

No, not our staunch, strong-willed Allie’s in government! They’d NEVER capitulate in advance! 😡😡😡

One seat is promising. Doesn’t mean jack until 2026 though - call me then.

The only way we get past this era is to take whatever steps necessary to ensure they will never again influence American politics. Anything short of that is just kicking the can down the road.

Is there a way to cross post a post to a different community? Also, how does one gain access to the TestFlight beta version?

Americans Believe Russian Disinformation ‘To Alarming Degree’

Republicans were, though, more likely to believe Russian disinformation claims than their Democratic counterparts, with 57.6% falling for at least one Russian disinformation claim, compared with just 17.9% of Democrats and 29.5% of people who didn't identify with one particular party.

The longer this drags on the less attention the public will pay, which is the administration’s ultimate goal. Make this happen, maybe another “foreigner”, and then a citizen.

At this point I’m concealed carrying everywhere (legally) so that when it finally does get to folks like me it’ll be comfortable, normal, and AVAILABLE. Because protection sitting at home does you no good.

The military is not a monolith. They are Americans, and other Americans are their family. If ordered to act against American citizens, how many will refuse? How many will obey?

Despite a court order, a reporter and photographer from The Associated Press were barred from an Oval Office news conference on Monday with President Donald Trump and his counterpart from El Salvador, Nayib Bukele.

Last week’s federal court decision forbidding the Trump administration from punishing the AP for refusing to rename the Gulf of Mexico was to take effect Monday. The administration is appealing the decision and arguing with the news outlet over whether it needs to change anything until those appeals are exhausted.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. circuit set a Thursday hearing on Trump’s request that any changes be delayed while case is reviewed. The AP is fighting for more access as soon as possible.
