People very upset that a company which exists to make money has used the cheaper option for the part of a TV that 80% of buyers will leave in the box anyway.

I saw a comment suggesting that it must only be $5 to add a proper stand. TCL made 30million TVs last year so that's a substantial bonus for whoever made that choice.

Breaking news! Budget TV has budget parts!

That's a great summary and completely explains it, thanks bud.

And I presume Arch is one of the more (if not the most) popular distro for PCs? Just because I see it referenced all the time

Ok after 5months here I have to ask, what the fuck is a distro?

The Internet is a depressing place today :(

Is this because OP doesn't like people talking about their happiness which they've been unable to find? Or is it they think true love doesn't exist?

Either way, sorry.

This isn't strictly speaking a proof, but it did help me to accept it as it demonstrates the function that makes it 1.

2^3 = 2x2x2

2^2 = 2x2

(2^3)/(2^2) = (2x2x2)/(2x2) = 2

= 2^(3-2)

In general terms:

(x^a)/(x^b) = x^(a-b)

If a and b are the same number this is x^0 and obviously (x^a)/(x^a) is one because anything divided by itself is 1.

Hope that helps

No, it's not.

This is a £5.10 item in the UK, the pic is taken from a reddit post complaining about spending 8 dollars in the US. Which is still a lot but not £8.

I'd just like to point out that OP is either lying or has been scammed.

Starbucks have consistent pricing and the most expensive sandwich in the UK is £5.10, technically 5.25 for a plant based breakfast item, see here for full menu prices.

But people like getting angry at cost of living issues right now (understandably) so this will get hundreds of upvotes despite being a lie.

As much as buying and eating a whole chocolate cake is 100% a bad idea for your health, doing it once is unlikely to have any noticable impact beyond making sure you have horrible shits for a day or so.

Doing it (or similar) habitually will obviously drastically increase your chances of heart attacks and other issues though of course.

But if you want to reward your inner 8 year old every once in a while I say do it, too many people make themselves permanently unhappy with dieting. The (much easier said than done) trick is very well known, and it's simple moderation.

Losing 40b is a pretty big deal even for Musk to be fair. It'd be more like a bored housewife remortgaging the house to pay for their vanity project.
