Ha. Was about to say the same. Running EasyOS on one ofy extra partitions for testing, and I end up using it as semi-daily driver often due to how light it is. Great on a USB key, too.

It is also somewhat unique, on top of other Puppy distros.

What are ads? I saw one back in 2009, but cannot be sure.

The vast majority of users did not use or even really know much about adblockers in general until recently, when Google/YT shot themselves in the foot by Barbara Straisand-ing adblockers into the general public's consciousness.

r/Worldnews is literally an echo chamber for propaganda. They will literally ban users or lock posts/stories, so no one cannot use/repost the same source or even similar, exploiting their own rules to shut down even valid stories/sources of anything that goes against their pre-selected narratives. I have seen this firsthand on a number of topics and more than once, in order to end up shaping general narratives to normies by killing stories, thus creating a different worldview based on lies by omission.

Reddit, for news, just creates reality myopia.

Mozilla is desperate for any cash influx, AI in a browser is a hot sounding thing, right now. Perhaps they also hope they can leverage it for extra income.

I run a Nightly on one of my machines and it was weird seeing the option and I hope it does not make it or that it gets removed.

That is certainly what MS will claim within their TOS. Best solution when possible, is to not use Windows.

Nice. LOL

Quality joke, right here.

Sadly, statistics sort of tend to back up at least a few of those claims, even if it is a silly cartoon. Even if people do not like to admit it. Example, in 2018, 69% of black mothers are single mothers. But people never want to speak about reality because they have been told that speaking about reality is somehow racist, which is not. No problem ever gets fixed if people refuse to look at it, honestly.

"In 2011, 72% of black babies were born to unmarried mothers,[5][6] while the 2018 National Vital Statistics Report provides a figure of 69.4 percent for this condition." The stats have not gotten better since then.

You know what would really help? More so then cutting actual food intake?

How about halfing the number of golf courses? Stop using grass and let more natural plants for lawns, stop the use of private planes and also just kill or reduce the Cruise ship industry to a miniscule amount. Plus other shit rich people use that has a disproportionate huge carbon footprint. Find it funny that I never see the news --or rich, holier than thou morons-- pushing for this. Nah, they go after our food. Rich people do not care, they can eventually make beef the price of caviar per weight? Because fuck you and all of us. Why? Well they do not care. They can always pay. Easily.

For example: Bill Gates is the largest farm land owner in the USA now, he and his buddies and his rich clients will all get all the natural milk, beef, pork, chickens, lambs, veal they can eat. You? Eat lentils and maybe crickets or give his lab grown biomilq, to your kids or eat his lab meat, like a good and compliant serf. Don't think, just comply and consume. 'Cause I am sure he ain't touching the stuff himself or is his family. He is not going to be the long term guinea pig. I wouldn't either.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/bill-gates-backed-lab-grown-195311408.html

Carbon footprint of food production in the USA is 9% of total. Beef is about 3% of total. So 9 for both beef and crops.

Just the cruise ship industry, for example, is about 3.3% of the world's total carbon footprint. Let's kill that. Also private jet use. They can fly Business class, if they are not hypocrites.

For Privacy, Mull is better than FF out of the box, from F-Droid.

No seed oils. No ultra processed food or drink, or to an utter minimum. I mean, I will always eat a pizza or a bag of chips or something at some point. So, it balances out. Little sugar, since it is already everywhere.

Make everything at home, if possible.

Certain this works 100% in the wild. Main issue will be trying to SSH into the server, unless you can borrow their hotspot.
