That can happen to anyone if they're fired.
It sucks for more than just that though. There's 0 reason for tipped workers to pay less in taxes over workers making the same just by virtue of being tipped.
Do mods not have the power to do that on lemmy?
On one side! The world dying! On the other, a couple people's jobs that can be replaced by green sector jobs!
