Clair Obscur came out the same time and it's probably the best RPG I've ever played, and I've played every noteworthy one in the last 40 years at least. GOTY at the LEAST.

Just curious, why did your boss require you to read Twilight?

It's hard enough getting acclimated here and then someone comes along and asks an innocent question or looks for more information and it's all "fIrST oF AlL ThIs IsN't ReDdIt" like no shit, shut the fuck up and stop being the problem with this site that makes people leave.

I assumed most everyone had at least two weeks of emergency supplies. Like I have a stock of a couple weeks supply of food and water in the basement in case of emergencies, that's what my parents taught me was the bare minimum in case of emergencies.

Sounds like you're angling for me to have a million things to say to you

It's like it hits "normal people are sleeping" time and I suddenly have a million things to say to them.

To be clear, this is not "I'm going to wake you up with inane ramblings" it's "why do I feel like rambling inanely when I shouldn't" for people who like to skim.

You make a good point I hadn't taken the time to think about before. There's not really too many heroes like that. Everyone deserves their chance to see themselves as the hero

My fiance has been struggling a lot lately with this and it's taking a toll on me. I'm doing all I can and all I know how to do but it's getting really hard and exhausting to deal with the constant cycle of abuse and then apology and then abuse and then apology over and over and over again for months. Usually day by day. I have convinced her to go to a counselor for help and she has an appointment set and seemed willing but she has kept up the cycle of drinking and I'm afraid she'll just ignore it or pretend to go. If anyone has experience helping a loved one through overcome this I would appreciate the help. She is an absolutely wonderful person when she is sober and I love her with all my heart but I'm not sure what else I can do and I don't want the rest of my life to consist of this.
