The "immigrant" group to shit on changes every so often where I live.

But when it changes the SAME rumors get saddled on to the new group.

"X group eats pets, better be careful around them."

"Y group will take your dog and butcher it. Better be watchful"

Napoleon Dynamite, loved that movie in High school and it's been a comfort movie ever since. Funny and easily quotable, it's a staple in my house.

I was in the "tie a knot" camp for YEARS. Laziness just moved me into reusing the ~~bread~~ bag clip.

In my experience. Once you pass $100 Bluetooth rarbuds it drifts onto diminishing returns territory. Once the Active Noise Canceling feature started to get passed down to sub $100 earbuds then the more premium ones started to look less and less appealing unless you hop on a good sale.

The IEM selection has been getting pretty good lately as well.

The ease of pairing Bluetooth headphones lately is pretty nice as well as not having to run a wire up my shirt to avoid snagging.

I do look back kind of fondly on physically plugging in my headphones and just having it work.

There's this one storefront where I live that's basically unused for the year. But once Thanksgiving comes near the owner of the building will stock it with Christmas decorations and trees for the town to buy. Locally we just call it the Spirit Christmas version.

I was looking into giving GrapheneOS a go. I will likely give the phone a go for a month or so and install.

After having the XL versions of Pixels before this one, the size isn't so bad. Its usable in one hand and I've been really liking the flat edges/screen.

The battery is almost the same as my 6 Pro toward the end of its life.

The display resolution looks really good in person. I really appreciate the brighter screen so that more than makes up for the lack of sharpness compared to the 6 Pro.

Cameras are great as usual for these phones. I didn't realize how many features they added on to Pixels since the 6 line.

The AI features are gimmicky and I'll just leave it at that.

A solid 8/10 phone for me. Definitely feels like an upgrade even for a base model.

How's everyone liking/disliking theirs?

The way me and my friends just turned into apes whilst playing games in the same room together is a feeling I miss.

We all still play online occasionally and still have fun but having the whole room drop laughing when someone hits a bullshit headshot is a hoot.

"You're very handsome for an Asian man." - My girlfriend's mom

Just one of those that confirms someone's biases.

Not surprised. But with some better writing this could've been at least somewhat decent. Love the games and there are lots of stories to tell there.

280mm AIO kept the 12600K ridiculously cool. Custom 3D printed feet so I wouldn't need to buy a right angled displayport adapter.

Eventually bought a bracket to get a 92mm fan mounted at the top of the case to keep the 3080FE cool in this sandwich layout.

Top fan installed
