I think that's an average professional price for my area, but there's always a cheaper painter. Spraying cabinets the right way is a big nasty job. Thankfully we don't do it much anymore.

2-3k to paint existing cabinets, new hardware 4-5k epoxy floor and countertops 4-5k new appliances 3-4k left for drywall, paint, lighting, trim, framing, hvac, plumbing, electrical.

She could have gotten more for less but not by much when you are hiring it all out. Doesn't even look like she touched the tile backsplash, which would be 1-2k more.

I remodel kitchens in the midwest, and we would charge a lot more than that for this size kitchen. She clearly didn't spend for a designer, though.

As an American who had every kind of toy gun growing up, this ad still rubbed me the wrong way, and I wasn't sure why until I read your comment. I think realistically, this is just a toy gun maker that has slightly modified their product so they can use the word "fidget" for marketing. Can't say I blame them, but it's still weird and a little too subliminal.

Trump is mistakenly equating electric planes with solar powered planes. It's that simple. It was a snarky talking point on fox years ago to say that these planes would only be able to fly when it's sunny. He tends to latch on to fox talking points and then jumble them up when speaking because he doesn't have a very firm understanding of how things work.

American democracy definitely needs to be improved (ranked 36 in the world), but do you think I have less of a voice in the election process than I would under communism?

NO

When the current government is not doing a very good job at maximizing the happiness of its citizens, it's a natural reaction to look for answers from a different type of government. America has some enormous problems with capitalism as it currently operates, and communism offers solutions to many of those problems. The issue is the top-down power structure. Democracy keeps the most power in the hands of the general population, and i will always oppose giving that up. Beyond that, I'm open to any solutions for modern problems, public or private.
