For pure fun addictive gaming: Factorio is absolutely nuts. 2D survival craft platforming action: Terraria is still king.

For space empire building check out X4: Foundations, after almost 10 years under development it's absolutely amazing (but a huge timesink haha)

Oh and if you're into semi-hard-scifi basebuilding you could give Stationeers a look. Sunk quite some hours into that one.

It's trickling down folks. If Ubisoft can pocket 20% more profits for their games that means you the gamer will get 20% more updates for your favorite games. Really, that's how it works.

For years if not decades Israeli hardliners have been using Nazi style rhetoric describing Palestinians as subhuman. It'd be a joke if it wasn't so horrifying.

As far as I have been able to tell, it doesn't. If you have your own infra it doesn't affect you at all.

Unironically I expect this to be the case. These "soldiers" in large part are young folks brainwashed by an extremist government and, to some extent, broader extremist society. There are going to be some of them who looking back later in life are going to be rightly horrified by their own actions. This is breeding a whole new generation of severely messed up people on both sides.
