A home console only slightly more powerful than the Deck (as reported) would be a flop. It would be less powerful than the PS4. People will be plugging this into 4k 120hz TVs.

I'd be very surprised if it was a home console unless they have some kind of magic upscaling they've built into Proton.

Don't even need nuclear, renewable energy at its current pace will get us to 100% renewable by 2050, which is about as far away as any nuclear plants you started constructing today for way, way less money and zero waste storage issues.

There's basically no point building any other kind of energy at this stage. Giant, expensive power plants that require huge amounts of expensive fuel and large expensive workforces simply can't compete with panels pumped out by factories you can install anywhere that generate free energy for decades with little to no maintenance.

I bought one of their phones after how much people rave about them. Cost me more than the equivalent Samsung or iPhone. It was a piece of shit with a shockingly mediocre camera considering Sony make the fucking sensor. Only good thing about it was the power button thumbprint scanner and even that's a monkey's paw feature because Sony having the patent is stopping anyone else doing it.

Russia has an army of "vocal critics" who play an important role in the pantomime, you see them on RT regularly. It doesn't prove anything.

Everything you said tracks except 5. Renewables are already cheaper than fossil fuels, and that's with the subsidies for fossil fuels.

From a purely economic perspective fossil fuels don't make sense anymore, they're being kept around because fossil fuel companies are using immense amounts of money to fight against renewables.

People seem to forget renewable energy is essentially free. Sure there's maintenance and upfront cost but that's true for all energy generation. Fossil fuels simply can't compete and it's only going to get worse as we get better at collecting renewable energy.
