Hi everyone! c/comedyheaven is looking for moderators!

As some of you may have noticed, I've taken a step back from posting as much, as I'm focusing on my mental health a little more. This also means I don't have as much time to monitor this community.

However, there is a lot potential here. So, if you're interested in helping to moderate and encourage this community to be all that it can be, leave a comment or message me!

I will still be around (on the mod team) to help keep an eye on things and post when I have content to post. I just feel that this community deserves some extra time and attention.

Potential moderators must believe in the core objective of this community: to create an inviting community, free of hate (racism, ableism, transphobia, homophobia, or any other), dedicated to humor that meets our guidelines.

When you reach out, let me know what experience you have, if any, and preferably what timezone you live in.

Looking forward to hearing from you all :)

I have Stardew Valley and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on my Android phone, and I'd like to put them onto my PC. It seems like most of the ways I've found online include using the Google Play store in some way. Which, is an option. But, though I'm no privacy purist I'd still like to resist giving Google more access to my machines if I can avoid it. So is there a way to rip or move my games from Android to PC without using Google Play?

I'd be curious to see which would be more practical: a decentralized version of Lyft/Uber powered by blockchain, or an employee-owned version of Lyft/Uber where workers keep all their earnings and pay a small portion for administrative fees to keep the app running.

Admittedly I'm always skeptical of blockchain's ability to actually solve problems. But maybe it would have fewer infrastructural costs? Who knows
