I haven't made it myself yet, but I've always wanted to make my own tepache, a fermented drink made with the rinds and core of a pineapple. I drink it a lot of the De La Calle tepache and really like it.
40 or so. I have shirts for my MLS (Sounders), NWSL (Reign), USLC (rip San Diego Loyal), USL1 (Madison), USL2 (Ballard) and national team (usa) sides. You're definitely right that prices are getting exorbitant -- I am probably going to have to sell some.
The United States of America
My country's national anthem is just one long stupid rhetorical question that's impossible to sing. It's super embarrassing at international sporting events when it's consistently the worst one there.
I'm trying to get a team together to do something similar which you can join if you're interested: https://dougs-digital-garden.netlify.app/notes/trailsapp/
It's definitely an older one
I follow my favorite Lemmy users on Mastodon -- since they're both on activitypub, you can use the one from the other. I like it much better because that's kinda Mastodon's whole jam, following users. Here's what it looks like from Mastodon looking at my account
I don't think "you can host your own instance" is a very realistic solution for the vast majority of social media users. "Just learn to be a sysadmin so you can post memes" is pretty user-hostile.
This was the great promise of the fediverse -- that you would own your profile, and that you would have one profile across the entire fediverse, and that you could migrate that profile from instance to instance if you had disagreements with the admins of your instance -- but it seems to have fallen by the wayside with real implementations, which is disappointing.
